We start by reviewing it — the platform it runs on, its technical condition, who owns the code, what is licensed, and what your DNS and email currently depend on. Once we know a migration is safe, we copy everything across, let you preview it privately, and schedule the switch with you so your site stays up. We can also prepare the cancellation notice for your old host. We do not promise a date or a clean move before that review has happened.
What is the difference between ELMNT ONE and Managed Infrastructure?
ELMNT ONE is the business software platform, at $249 per month. Managed Infrastructure is the recurring service that keeps an eligible ELMNT website online, and the plan you select determines how much website management and technical support ELMNT provides.
What is the $99 Essentials plan?
Reliable website infrastructure for businesses that prefer to manage their own content and routine website changes. ELMNT manages the infrastructure — hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, dashboard access — while you manage the website content itself.
Does Essentials include website updates?
No. Essentials does not include content updates, design changes, or routine website-management requests. Upgrade to Managed when you want ELMNT to handle routine changes, or have a specific change quoted as separate project work.
What counts as a minor content update?
Changing existing text or business information. Replacing an existing image. Updating hours, pricing, contact details, or staff information. Adding a team member to an existing team layout. Updating an existing announcement, promotion, or service description. New pages, new functionality, major layout changes, full redesigns, extensive copywriting, ecommerce catalog imports, and custom integrations are not minor content updates.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. You can request an upgrade or downgrade. Changes normally take effect on the next billing cycle, subject to any technical migration or resource requirements.
Is the website build separate?
Yes. Managed Infrastructure is the monthly service. Professional website design and development is a separate one-time project, currently starting at $1,500. ELMNT ONE is billed separately again.
Do you migrate websites from another host?
Migration is available for eligible websites after review. We confirm the current platform, technical condition, code ownership, licences, DNS, database and email dependencies, and agree a cutover plan before committing to a date.
Do you host sites you didn't build?
Managed Infrastructure is for websites ELMNT has built or rebuilt. If your website is somewhere else today, start with a review — we look at what you have and tell you what it would take to bring it across.
Can I cancel?
Standard monthly services can be canceled according to the current service agreement. The terms of service set out the actual notice, offboarding and port-out policy.
